FAQs: Electrical Repair Cary IL
Answers to common questions about our commercial electrical and lighting services.
Why does my circuit breaker keep tripping?
A breaker usually trips because the circuit is overloaded, there is a short circuit, or a ground fault is present. A worn breaker can also trip too easily. An electrician should test the circuit to find the exact cause.
Are flickering lights dangerous?
Occasional flickering from one bulb is usually minor. Flickering in several rooms or when large appliances start can point to loose connections or panel problems, which can create a fire risk and should be inspected.
Can you repair old wiring in Cary homes?
Yes. We repair and replace knob-and-tube, cloth-insulated, and aluminum branch wiring, and we can recommend partial or full rewiring when repairs alone won’t keep your home safe.
How quickly can you schedule a repair visit in Cary?
Is it safe to replace an outlet or switch myself?
Small mistakes with outlets and switches can cause shocks, fires, and failed inspections. A licensed electrician makes sure the device, wiring, and protection match code requirements.

All I can say is after the big ice storm last week Brian and his team got out here quickly and on point. They even did the work that Comed dropped the ball on originally. Read my other review of nexus electrical in Mchenry. They were absolutely awful in every measurable metric. The same cannot be said about Brian and his team. It was a fairly complex repair, they were in, fixed it, and they were out. I believe fairly reasonable pricing all things considered. It was an emergency repair after all. Pictures below is what they were up againstPosted on Google![]()

Brian was able to get out to my house next day and get my electrical issues solved very quickly. You can tell he's been doing this for years and his experience shows. Highly recommended.
